Pepurr was our original hospital cat. Dr. Ricksgers took care of Pepurr as a kitten. When our hospital opened, she found he had been brought to a shelter, so she went to the shelter and adopted him. Our oldest clients remember him as a mischievious kitten and an amazing adult cat.
Sweet Zena was a feral kitten we took care of and decided we couldn’t let her go! She lived at The Cat Hospital for 17 years, warming laps and making us laugh every day.
When Pepurr died, our hospital had a hole in its heart. We adopted Georgie from the former MSPCA in Springfield, and he came to us as a young cat. He was a gentle boy and our first orange cat.
Bear was obtained as a feral kitten, but he was young enough that he was easily tamed by our staff. He was a sweet and beautiful cat with intuitive powers. He was always happy to help show clients how to pill their cats, because we used treats!
